WHAT KIND OF VEHICLE DO I HAVE?
Every vehicle model of vehicle is different but the best tyres for your vehicle are recommended by your car manufacturer when it is manufactured. This will depend on the load it needs to carry, maximum speed, driving style, road and weather conditions. We suggest that you always choose the correct tyre size, load index and speed code. The size of your tyre can be found on the outer sidewall of your tyre.
I AM A SPORTS DRIVER, WHICH TYRES DO I NEED?
If you love sports driving, we recommend choosing a tyre that favors steering response and high stability at high speeds , so a tyre that prefers the dynamic behavior of the vehicle.

A GUIDE TO DRIVING IN AN URBAN / CITY / TOWN ENVIRONMENT
In general, fuel consumption increases when driving in urban / city areas. However, you can save money by choosing a tyre with low rolling resistance which means it has reduced energy loss / less friction as the tyre meets the surface of the road. By decreasing the rolling effort of your tyres on your vehicle it is estimated that it can improve your fuel efficiency by approximately 5–15% of the fuel consumed by a typical car by overcoming rolling resistance. In addition as you will be braking and accelerating more often, durable tyres will be required. Finally, you have to ensure that the tyres will also provide a good braking (shortest distance), to deal with the demands of the urban environment (cyclists, pedestrians, traffic lights, etc.).
MOTORWAY DRIVING
If you often are driving on motorways or dual carriageways, your driving speed will be faster due to the higher speed you are able to drive at by law. In view of this the necessary tyres you will require will be high performance with good tread depth and correct pressures to ensure safety especially in changing weather conditions. This will also help your tyres offer you maximum comfort and low noise levels whilst travelling on your journey.
OFF ROAD / 4 x 4 DRIVING
Vehicles intended for mixed road and off-road use (those that are commonly referred to as SUVs and Pick ups) require specific tyres capable of simultaneously guaranteeing good performance on dry and wet roads as well as mobility, grip, high resistance to shocks and cuts when used on off road land usage.
TYRES FOR DIFFERENT or ALL SEASONS
You can choose between tyres suitable for every season (summer and winter) or a combination of Summer and Winter tyres known as All Season or Four Season tyres. If you travel many miles a year and make long journeys, the best choice is the combination of Summer tyres in 'hot weather' and Winter tyres in the 'cold season'.
Summer tyres are designed and engineered to work best during the warmer summer months. They are created with a specific tread pattern for optimal performance on both dry and wet roads when the air temperature is above +7°C.
Winter tyres look very similar to summer tyres but are specially developed to provide additional driving performance in 'winter' conditions. It is a common misconception that 'winter' tyres are only for driving in the snow. Winter tyres are designed to work best in conditions below +7°C, so even in wet and frosty icy conditions, you’ll benefit from their superior grip and handling.
All Season tyres are for countries like the UK where winters are less severe and are characteristically more cold and wet with a low likelihood of snow are ideally suited for 'All Season' tyres. Because they are designed to cope with less extreme climates, they are sometimes referred to as 'four season' tyres as they can be used in spring, summer, autumn or winter.
