"Potentially saved me £1000s by going above and beyond. Went in for a gearbox issue diagnosis, and took the time to explain that I should consider contacting VW due to a potential recall for a different issue with the gearbox. Jay (I think!?) took the time to fully explain the potential issue, how it is detected / prevented and the outcomes if I didn't ad dress it. They didn’t have to do this. Turns out the recall had been issued back in 2022 and mine had slipped through the net, probably to ownership changes, and could have resulted in a very big bill. Will be bringing my car to this garage every time now, cheers all."
