"I’m really picky with who I’ll let work on my beloved Mk5 Golf GT, I’ll always try and do it myself. When the dual mass flywheel failed on my car, causing all sorts of vibrations, I was a bit stuck. The thought of getting the gearbox out on my driveway wasn’t sounding great, and I wasn’t going to take it to some generic clutch and exhaust workshop. A good friend of mine was having some work done on his Porsche 928 Strosek, I went down to have a look around to be greeted with a beautifully clean workshop with some insane metal in there, UR Quattro rally cars, track prepped Golf GTi’s, tuned Golf R’s, a Porsche 356 Speedster, what looked like a 2.7 Carrera RS behind that the list goes on. So how did they do? I had clutch, flywheel, release bearing and rear main seal fitted. My GT has never driven so nicely in the 8yrs I’ve owned it! I must confess to genuine tears of joy on my way home down some of Leicestershire finest country lanes. The guys knocked it out of the park, I cannot recommend the guys at VRS Leicester enough. Main dealers like Skoda should take a long hard look at this guy, because he offers excellent service and he is by far the best mechanic in Leicestershire. Conor is very trustworthy and he knows his stuff. I have always used him from day one, and I will continue to use him, as he has resolved issues with my 2 Skoda Octavia VRS vehicles. Conor always makes time to explain to me what he has done to fix any issues on my Skoda Octavia VRS cars, which is excellent and rare to see. "Carried out a timing chain Job on my s4 which most garages wouldn’t even entertain. Very informative before carrying out the work and kept me updated throughout , not the cheapest but I’d rather pay abit more and know the jobs done properly and have the after care too . Would recommend to anyone wanting big work carried out eg engine rebuilds & timing chains ect or just general maintenance"
