"I’d been dealing with ongoing locking/unlocking issues on my Jaguar XF after the alternator failed completely while driving. My usual garage fixed the alternator but advised the central locking needed dealership-level software and adviced to take it to Jag. After some research (and a very helpful YouTube video), I took a friend’s recommendation and booked in with PJ Hodge hoping it would just be a software issue as best case scenario. They fitted me in at very short notice and, despite initially being told by Eric at the reception that it might not be fixed until after Christmas, the issue was diagnosed and resolved the same day just as I'd have hoped. Ollie was excellent throughout – polite, knowledgeable, and very responsive both in person and via email. I also appreciated the advice about getting a metal key cut if I bring a blank. Highly recommend PJ Hodge, professional, efficient, flexible with the timings as I wasn't told to get there for a specific time and conveniently close to the town centre if you need to catch a bus to get home!"

"I was concerned about low coolant level in the coolant reservoir, after having had a new cambelt and water pump fitted. Hodges took the car and checked it over next day after I phoned. After a thorough check over they found no leaks and concluded it was an air pocket. After topping up the system all air was cleared, and the water level remained constant and the car given the all clear. Not only did they see to it next day but they didnt charge me for the check up. I have bringing my cars and Mercedes Sprinter campervan to Hodges for many years and always found them very thorough and very professional."
